Two people were killed after a lorry rammed into another lorry parked aside road here at Shankarpally of Rangareddy district on Friday. The deceased, Sikinder Singh (34) and Alikhan Patan (30) are the natives of Maharashtra.

On receipt of information, the police rushed to the place and shifted the bodies to the hospital morgue. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.

On Thursday evening, four youngsters were killed and three others were injured after their car rammed into an HMDA water tanker at Bhongir when the car was trying to overtake another car. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and one of them is said to be critical.

The accident took place near Anantharam flyover when the victims were returning home after attending a marriage in Alair. All of them are around 19 years and were pursuing second year BTech in Holy Mary Engineering College in Ghatkesar.
