Serilingampally: Local MLA Arekapudi Gandhi paid a visit to the Delhi Land & Finance (DLF) buildings in Gachibowli here on Friday. He was given a power-point presentation on construction of buildings in the 300,000 square feet area and development works. Gandhi sought details of the employees working in DLF buildings.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA advised the firm to create more employment opportunities for the local people. The company representatives informed him that 8,000 women, many of them Telugus, were working there. They said shuttle services were being run for the conveniences and safety of women employees.

When Gandhi suggested to the firm that it should adopt two water bodies in Serilingampally constituency, they agreed. Among the DLF representatives who were present included Srinivas,Venu Goud, Somaiah, former councilor Raghavendra Rao, TRS leaders Uppalapati Srikanth, Narne Srinivas, Venkat and Narender.
