Arekapudi takes part in Bathukamma festivities

Allwyn Colony: Women in large numbers participated in 'Bathukamma' festivities organised on Sunday by local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud, with Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi as the chief guest. Kukatpally zonal GHMC Commissioner Mamata, Tahsildar Nirmala Nayakwady, joined the women in playing 'Bathukamma' and shared their happy moments.

Later, the officials stated that it was a matter of pleasure that Dodla organised the Bathukamma festivities every year and to see the gathering of women participating the festival. Local women too said they were happy. Among those present were TRS youth leader Dodla Ramakrishna Goud, Ward and Area committee members, senior leaders, activists, women and local residents.
