The BJP leaders of Bagh Amberpet division on Monday welcomed the Centre’s decision on scrapping the Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and celebrated by distributing sweets at the party office.

Addressing BJP activists, division party president Chukka Jagan stated that the NDA government, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had taken a 'bold' and 'tough' decision with the slogan 'Sab ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas'. He said the government decisions, like in the case of the Triple Talak, were in the interest of the people.
He said it was a matter of pride that the Centre had solved a problem pending for years. Among those who joined the celebrations were State BJP Executive Committee Member C Krishna Goud, activists Govardhan Reddy, N Sambasiva Goud, E Ajaykumar, Rangampalli Raju, Madusudhan, Arender and Vanjari Ravinder.
