Hyderabad: BRS official spokesperson Manne Krishank has criticised the Congress government in Telangana for allegedly diverting attention from public issues through political attacks instead of answering questions raised by the Opposition.

He demanded a comprehensive and impartial investigation into transactions involving 22A-prohibited lands, particularly a parcel in Chandhanvelli village of Chevella mandal allegedly linked to a company associated with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s family.

Krishank demanded that the government explain how approximately 4.2 acres in Survey No. 363/3 became eligible for registration when surrounding lands in Survey No 363 continued to be classified as assigned lands. He called for a CBI inquiry to establish the facts and determine whether any irregularities had occurred.

Krishank raised questions about the ownership, investments, business agreements and land allotments associated with several entities, including Maxbien Pharma, Medicover Hospitals, MindVault Corporate Schools, Tesseract Aerospace and Defence, Swachh Bio and Geetha Hyundai showrooms.

He urged the Chief Minister to clarify the alleged links between these businesses and the Anumula family, including details of their ownership and commercial interests.

The BRS leader said the 22A prohibited lands list had caused difficulties for ordinary landowners across Telangana, preventing them from completing land transactions and resolving ownership-related issues.

He alleged that while the government had failed to address the problems faced by ordinary citizens, questions had arisen over the registration of land allegedly linked to the Chief Minister’s family.

Referring to Survey No. 363 in Chandhanvelli village, Krishank sought an explanation regarding the classification and registration of Survey No. 363/3. He demanded scrutiny of the registration documents, company records and land revenue records associated with the transaction.

He also sought an investigation into allegations concerning the role of Anumula Krishna Reddy, identified by Krishank as the Chief Minister’s brother and a director of the company, in transactions involving R9 Constructions.

Krishank questioned the government’s willingness to support an independent inquiry, arguing that a transparent investigation would establish the facts if no irregularities had occurred. He demanded examination of official documents, company directors’ and shareholders’ details, and registration records connected with the transactions.

He called for a CBI investigation into the 22A-prohibited lands issue and related transactions facing allegations.

Krishank also urged the government to clarify its preparedness for the anticipated Super El Niño threat, including farming advisories, irrigation supplies and drinking water arrangements. He accused the government of attempting to divert attention from these issues by raising questions about former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s agricultural land.

He further called on the BJP-led Central Government to take appropriate steps to establish the facts surrounding the land transactions and corruption allegations, rather than limiting its response to political statements.

The BRS spokesperson demanded a comprehensive, independent investigation into the business entities and land transactions he had raised, with particular emphasis on the registration of Survey No. 363/3 in Chandhanvelli village.

“The government must answer the questions people are asking. Questions raised with evidence should not be diverted through political attacks. If the government believes no irregularities have taken place, it should agree to an impartial inquiry. The facts must be established through official documents. The people of Telangana have a right to know the truth,” Krishank said.
