Hyderabad: BRS Working President KT Rama Rao on Wednesday said that the photos released by the Congress government were fake images created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and warned of legal action.
The BRS leader alleged that the Congress party and its affiliated social media handles were using AI-generated fake photos and videos to spread false propaganda against BRS leaders amidst the Assembly session.
KTR warned that they were lodging a complaint with the cyber crime police regarding these fake photos and that strict legal action would be taken against the individuals, who created and circulated them, as well as the media organisations that intentionally broadcasted them. He made it clear that BRS would not tolerate attempts to mislead the public by passing off AI-generated fake photos and videos as genuine.
KTR said that there was an attempt to divert attention from the real issues by using fake images and fabricated narratives to claim that attacks took place when, in reality, no such attacks occurred. “The Congress party is behaving like the thief who shouts ‘thief, thief’ to deflect blame,” he criticised.
