Corporator vows new drainage pipelines
After the drainage water overflowed on the roads in Mahankalinagar of Allwyn Colony division on Wednesday, Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud paid a visit to the spot.
Allwyn colony: After the drainage water overflowed on the roads in Mahankalinagar of Allwyn Colony division on Wednesday, Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud paid a visit to the spot. He assured the residents that new drainage pipelines would be laid as a permanent solution to the problem. He also said that drainage and CC road works would be taken up in a phased manner for the development of Mahankalinagar area.
Following complaints made by local women about the inadequate water supply, Goud brought it to the notice of HMWSSB official Ravinder. He wanted the Board to increase the pressure of water supply so as to avoid any hardship to the residents.
The corporator observed that avoidance of problems to people was the responsibility of political leaders, people's representatives and officials. Among those who accompanied Goud during the visit were Area Committee member Nagaraju, TRS leaders Nagabhushnam, Shiva, Baluseth and SRP Sathyanarayana.
