Denial of SPG cover to Congress leaders decried

Nampally: TS Youth Congress organised a protest and burnt an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Nampally road on Monday. They were agitating against central government's recent decision to revoke SPG Security to Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
They condemned the 'vendetta politics' of Modi-led government. They pointed out that people were noticing all this and hoped that keeping in view security threat to Sonia Gandhi and her family, the SPG Security should be restored.
State Youth Congress in-charge and IYC secretary Jebi Mether, state president M Anil Yadav, vice-president Rajeev Reddy, IYC coordinator Venkat Ramana, state spokesperson SP Kranthi Kumar, leaders Prabhakar, VP Lalith, G Venkat, Mahipal Yadav, Dileep Reddy, Rama Kanth Reddy, Sardar Khan and several Youth Congress activists participated in the protest.
