ABVP national general secretary Nidhi Tripathi suggested that CM KCR change his name as he failed in protecting women in the state.

She was speaking at a public meeting held on Monday after a huge rally was taken out from Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram to Dharna Chowk. Tripathi condemned insensitive remarks made by Home Minister Mahmood Ali.
She also criticised the police for their failure to respond in time to the parents' complaints and wasting time on issue of jurisdictional purview. She also lambasted the state government for promoting liquor sales in the state.
"It is a matter of shame that Telangana state stands among top liquor selling states," she said. She demanded that the state government hand over Dr Priyanka case to a fast-track court and ensure that justice is done at the earliest.
