Eatala springs surprise visit to State-run hospitals in city
Health Minister Eatala Rajender made a sudden inspection of a few State-run hospitals in the city on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender made a sudden inspection of a few State-run hospitals in the city on Tuesday. He visited Nature Cure Hospital, Sarojini Eye Hospital, Niloufer Hospital, Osmania General Hospital and Gandhi Hospital without informing the officials.
The Health Minister inaugurated the PG hostel in Sarojini Eye hospital after which he visited one hospital after the other. According to doctors, he went around inspecting facilities, conditions in wards, interacted with patients, doctors, nurses and other staff at all hospitals.
The hospital staff took this opportunity to air their pending issues and demands directly to the minister. He also took feedback from in patients getting treatment and also examined the diet charts prescribed by doctors in Niloufer Hospital.The Health Minister called upon the medical staff to work with dedication and be service oriented to restore faith among public in government hospitals in Telangana.
