FSC cardholders urged to complete eKYC at fair price shops

Hyderabad: The Civil Supplies Department has urged Food Security Card (FSC) holders to complete the mandatory eKYC process to ensure that eligible beneficiaries continue to receive the benefits provided under the Public Distribution System.
As part of the process, FSC cardholders can complete their eKYC through the biometric authentication facility available at Fair Price Shops (FPS). The department has advised all eligible beneficiaries to make use of the facility and complete the process at the earliest.
Special drive for FSC cardholders
According to the Civil Supplies Department, a special programme has been taken up across Telangana to complete eKYC for FSC/PMGKAY beneficiaries. The initiative is aimed at updating and verifying the details of beneficiaries and ensuring that the benefits reach eligible persons.
Beneficiaries can complete their eKYC through the e-POS machines available at Fair Price Shops in their respective areas. The process can be completed by visiting the concerned Fair Price Shop.

The department has appealed to all FSC cardholders who have not yet completed eKYC to visit their nearest Fair Price Shop and complete the process without delay.
