Ganesh immersion proceeds peacefully in Hyderabad, says Hyderabad CP
Hyderabad’s Ganesh immersion procession is proceeding peacefully, Police Commissioner Sajjanar said.
He said the process had been slightly delayed and traffic slowed as lakhs of devotees, many accompanied by family members, gathered at Tank Bund, NTR Marg, Necklace Road, Liberty and Mozamjahi Market.
The procession is expected to continue until this afternoon. Police and traffic personnel are working to ensure the immersion is completed as quickly as possible, the commissioner added.
