GHMC closes plaint, without solving issue

LB Nagar: The locals of Sadhguru Nagar Road no 1, LB Nagar are distressed as GHMC sanitation wing personnel are not visiting the area, leading to piling up of garbage everywhere.

The locals alleged that the garbage has not been cleaned for past two weeks and is emitting foul smell. It also has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes and flies, they complained.

A local resident said, "Our grievance complaints are closed without even attending to the problem. The garbage has piled up, during rains, the ground becomes slushy with filth spreading. A few days back, I received a message from GHMC which said your grievance is now closed, but, in reality, nobody visited the place and the garbage issue is still the same."
