Grace Foundation to organise cancer run
VC Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, on Friday launched the fliers of Grace Cancer Run- 2019 at Cyberabad Commissionerate in presence of Apollo Hospitals surgical oncologists Dr Hemanth Udayaraju and Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli.
Gachibowli: VC Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, on Friday launched the fliers of Grace Cancer Run- 2019 at Cyberabad Commissionerate in presence of Apollo Hospitals surgical oncologists Dr Hemanth Udayaraju and Dr Chinnababu Sunkavalli. The run is supported by Microsoft and will be organised by Grace Cancer Foundation.
This is the second year of the annual charity run organised by the NGO. It is also the largest cancer charity-themed run in the country, which saw 7000 runners participating in inaugural 2018 event.
The event organised for 2-km, 5-km and 10-km distances aims to promote cancer awareness and also encourages fitness and healthy lifestyle as a preventive measure. The 2 km run will have Cancer survivors and their families participating. The 10k event will be timed while the other 2 events are non-timed events.
