A senior official in the Chief Electoral Officer’s (CEO) office said the draft electoral rolls would be published on November 25. The period for filing claims and objections will be from November 25 to December 10. Disposal of claims and objections and printing of supplementary lists are scheduled for December 25, while the final electoral rolls will be published on December 30.

The official said there was sufficient time to process the applications. BLOs have to visit every applicant’s residence to verify certificates. Those who applied online must produce their original certificates before the BLOs for processing, the official added.
