Hyderabad : Five people were caught on Saturday by the Commissioner's Task Force (North) during a raid at a hookah parlour in Begumpet. Together with Rs 20,000, police seized hookah pots and other items.
The police, acting on a tip-off, raided the building on SD Road where D Lokesh and P Shiva Kumar, with the help of Manas, Thang Zioulin and P Vinod, ran the hookah parlour.
"The management breached the COTP Act and the Hyderabad City Police Act and did not abide by guidelines," P Radha Kishan Rao, DCP, Task Force said.
The five people were handed over to the Begumpet Police for further action along with the house.
