Hyderabad: BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Friday said graduates, educated people and the unemployed in Telangana were angry with the Congress government and asserted that the ruling party would be taught a lesson in the upcoming Graduate MLC elections.

He criticised the Congress government for allegedly failing to fulfil even a single promise made to unemployed youth and students, accusing it of betraying them. KTR said job and employment opportunities had dwindled since the Congress came to power and alleged that the government had failed to issue notifications to fill vacant government posts, causing injustice to the unemployed.

He further accused the Congress government of pushing the education sector into a crisis. The educated and unemployed, he said, would express their anger through their votes in the upcoming Graduate MLC elections.

KTR held a review meeting at Telangana Bhavan with BRS MLAs and senior leaders from the erstwhile Warangal district to discuss preparations for the elections.

During the meeting, he guided party leaders on the strategy to be adopted and emphasised that the cadre should undertake the graduate voter registration drive with utmost responsibility. He called for identifying every eligible graduate and actively facilitating the registration process to ensure that all eligible voters were enrolled.

KTR urged party leaders and workers to work together in unity to secure a BRS victory in the Graduate MLC elections. He called on everyone to participate actively in the election preparations and contribute to the party’s success.
