Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy, along with District Collector M V Reddy, on Wednesday inaugurated the 30 ml Mission Bhagiratha (MB) water bank costing Rs 4.3 crore in Jawaharnagar Colony for physically challenged.

Medchal: Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy, along with District Collector M V Reddy, on Wednesday inaugurated the 30 ml Mission Bhagiratha (MB) water bank costing Rs 4.3 crore in Jawaharnagar Colony for physically challenged.

Addressing the gathering, Malla Reddy stated that the bank would help tide over the water supply problems of Jawaharnagar residents. He directed the MB officials to complete the project works at the earliest.

The minister directed Municipal Commissioner Aruna Kumari to spend Rs 50 lalkh Rs 25 lakh from the Collector's funds and Rs 25 lakh from municipality funds to colour the disabled quarters building. Among those present were Municipal Commissioner of Kapra, tahasildar Nagamani nad colony residents.
