Mega blood donation marks KTR birthday fete

Kompally: On the occasion of TRS working president K T Rama Rao's birthday, MLR group of institutions organised a blood donation camp on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Marri Rajashekar Reddy, secretary, Marri Laxma Reddy group of institutions who also donated blood said, "The response was good as students did not have to be coaxed but came forward voluntarily."
The camp was organised in association with Red Cross Society and ESI Gandhi Hospital for thalasemmia patients. As many as 750 students including faculty members donated blood.
Dr A Natraj, chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Mahbubnagar, Dr Suman Jain, MD, Thalasemmia and Sickle Cell Society, Hyderabad were present.
