Musheerabad: Former Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy has urged TRS party cadre to strive for the strengthening of the party. He was speaking at the party membership drive started at Risala Gadda of Ramnagar division on Tuesday.

The programme was organized by TRS minority president of Ramnagar division Wahed Ali. Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal and local Corporator V Srinivas Reddy attended the programme. Addressing the party cadre, the former Home Minister urged the party cadre to ensure that the party remains the largest party in the state in terms of number of party members.

He exhorted party workers to conduct membership drives from booth level and to explain people about various developmental and welfare works initiated by the state government, so that more people will be attracted towards the party. He appealed to the minority leaders to explain people various minority welfare schemes initiated by the state government to attract more minorities into the party.

Among those who participated in the program include TRS senior leaders MN Srinivas Rao, Muta Jaisimha, division president Mallesh, local leaders Prakash Reddy, Sirigiri Shyam Kumar, Javed Khan, K Madhu and others.
