Hyderabad: The North America Telugu Society (NATS) has appointed Sai Gangula as its New Jersey Chapter Leader to strengthen community engagement and expand its service activities in the state. The announcement was made by NATS President Raj Allada at a special Meet & Greet attended by Chairman Kishore Kancharla. Allada expressed confidence that Gangula’s energy and enthusiasm for community service would boost NATS activities and encourage greater participation, particularly among younger Telugu Americans.

Kancharla highlighted New Jersey’s longstanding contribution to NATS, noting that the state had produced three presidents. He reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to expanding its outreach and serving the Telugu community.

The gathering brought together community leaders, volunteers and representatives of APTA, ATMIYA, MATA, TANA, TFAS and NRIVA, along with NATS executive committee and board members. National sponsors Sasi Paravatham of Nexillo Health and Kalyan Lakkimsetty of Bullion Fortune also attended.

Allada called for greater collaboration among Telugu organisations in community service initiatives, including cancer awareness and screening programmes. Telugu residents can contact Gangula at [email protected] to participate in NATS activities.
