Rajesh, a B Tech student, said, "Things get worse in the rainy season as the nala overflows and more bad smell emanates from it. We have been requesting the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to provide the fencing and walls for this nala for long, but there is no response from them."

Subashini, a housewife, said, "The civic authorities should maintain these nalas in good condition and we want the GHMC to cover these nalas with fencing or stones. Because of this nala, people in surrounding areas are facing so many problems."
