Photo exhibition on biodiversity underway
Telangana State Biodiversity Board in collaboration with Nehru Zoological Park, has been holding a photography exhibition on biodiversity & slogan writing on nature & biodiversity at the park from May 3 to 10. The contest is open to Indian citizens only.

Photography contest-2019
Photographers are invited to display their exhibits on "Biodiversity (flora and fauna)" under two categories: Amateur (Age group 10- 25 years) and Professional (Age 25 years and above). The participants should bring the photo prints to the venue on May 11 between 9.30 and 10 am. The size of the photo print must be 8x12 Inches (Glossy or Mat). There is no limit on the number of entries per person.
There is no limit on the number of entries per person by sending through mail. But the shortlisted photo will be printed by the organizers and it will be exhibited during the competition on May 11 at Nehru Zoological Park, and then the Jury members (judges) will finalise the winners.
To enter the contest, the participant must submit an entry form with the following information name, address, telephone number, email address, and photo caption; and submit along with your photograph in accordance with the instructions that follow. The caption must be complete and accurate, sufficient to convey the circumstances in which the photograph was taken.
The entries in each category will be judged separately, in accordance with the judging criteria. Winners' names will be announced on the same day on May 11 itself, after the exhibition. The winners will get the certificate of appreciation of 'Nature Champion.'
Slogan writing
The slogan writing competitions will be conducted on the spot at Nehru Zoological Park. The participants should reach the venue by 9.30 am. The winners will get the certificate of appreciation of 'Nature Champion' from the senior officers of the Telangana State Biodiversity Board and Telangana State Forest Department.
The winner's photos and slogans will be published in the different magazines with their photo. There is no entry fee for the participants only. Participants must submit entry form with all details.
The minimum size of the photograph for professional entry is limited to 5 Mb in JPEG or JPG format and is to be sent by e-mail to tsphotographycontest@gmail.com or can be sent through DVD to the Secretary, Telangana State Biodiversity Board, 6th Floor, Chandra Vihar, Nampally, MJ Road, Beside CARE Hospital, Hyderabad'.
