Hyderabad: The voters' turnout in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections had registered a very disappointing percentage in the Greater Hyderabad. The Secunderabad parliamentary constituency on Thursday recorded its worst voter turnout in decades. As per figures provided by the GHMC, polling in the constituency's seven assembly segments stood at 46.26%.

The lowest voter turnout was registered in Hyderabad constituency with a mere 44.75 per cent, closely followed by 46.26 per cent in Secunderabad constituency and 49.4 per cent in Malkajgiri.

In the seven assembly segments within the Hyderabad parliamentary constituency the turnout was thus:

Malakpet: Total voters 296926; voter turnout 111037. which is 37.40 per cent.

Karwan: Total voters 311978; voter turnout 154030, which is 48.44 per cent.

Goshamahal: Total voters 244633; voter turnout 130906, which is 53.51 per cent.

Charminar: Total voters 206658; voter turnout 94863, which is 45.90 per cent.

Chandrayangutta: Total voters 296901; voter turnout 135471, which is 45.63 per cent.

Yakutpura: Total voters 328640; voter turnout 123303, which is 37.52 per cent.

Bahadurpura: Total voters 266033; voter turnout 126168, which is 47.54 per cent.

In the seven assembly segments within the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency, details are as follows:

Musheerabad: Total voters 287029; voter turnout 138971, which is 48.42 per cent.

Amberpet: Total voters 250305; voter turnout 131905, which is 52.70 per cent.

Khairtabad: Total voters 275301; voter turnout 136352, which is 49.52 per cent.

Jubilee Hills: Total voters 355319; voter turnout 141400, which is 39.80 per cent.

Sanathnagar: Total voters 241880; voter turnout 116021, which is 47.97 per cent.

Nampally: Total voters 309333; voter turnout 119916, which is 38.77 per cent.

Secunderabad: Total voters 248980; voter turnout 125872, which is 50.56 per cent.
