Revenue officials closing in on KCR
In Short
Notice on Erravalli farmhouse lands soon

BRS president and former Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR)
Hyderabad: Revenue officials have firmed up their preparations to conduct a multi-pronged survey to establish the authenticity of lands constituting the farmhouse of BRS president and former Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) at Erravalli village in Markook mandal of Siddipet district.
Towards this end, officials are preparing to issue advance notices to farmers in the village. A notice may be served on KCR also at any moment, seeking his participation in the process, according to sources. The survey aims to verify the boundaries and actual extent of the farmhouse premises by collating the land details and survey numbers with official revenue records. The move has reportedly triggered tension in the Markook area.
The main allegation concerns land in Survey No. 325 that certain poor farmers belonging to SC and BC communities have reportedly cultivated for decades. There are also allegations that this land, along with certain government lands, was incorporated into the farmhouse expansion or used for access roads following alterations allegedly made to Dharani land records.
Against this backdrop, the Revenue Department and a special inquiry committee are preparing to undertake a detailed survey. Officials are expected to compare Google Earth satellite imagery, old pahani records, and existing revenue documents with the present ground situation to establish the actual boundaries and ownership details. The proposed exercise is aimed at verifying the allegations and determining whether any govt or privately cultivated lands were included in the farmhouse premises.
