T-Hub’s poor show rattles state govt
Hyderabad: Kavikrut, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Hub, is under the state government’s radar now. An Enquiry Committee nailed the CEO's underperformance. The committee report, a copy of which is with The Hans India, disclosed that the T- Hub CEO was taking unilateral decisions undermining the institution's delivery, capacity and alignment with the government objectives.
The committee also found that the CEO must be held accountable for decisions that brought disrepute to the organisation, and lowered employees morale. The committee recommended to the government to constitute a sub- committee to monitor the adherence of T-Hub to policies.
The probing team also pulled up the CEO for sacking Phani Kondepudi, T Hub’s Chief Development Officer (CDO), without any valid reasons. “The CEO’s functioning was characterized by unilateral decision, poor HR policies, disregard for institutional continuity.
These actions collectively undermined T- Hub’s delivery, capacity and alignment with government objectives,” the Enquiry Committee pointed out.
“Corrective counseling and performance review mechanisms should be instituted with clear milestones and periodic evaluation by the Board. The failure of the Board of Directors and Advisory committee to enforce accountability and provide corrective guidance represents a systematic breakdown” the committee’s report observed.
The Enquiry Committee also found that many of the HR policies implemented by the new CEO - hiring freeze for initial few months, new hiring policies introduced in 2025, police on resolution of employees grievances (July 2025) and conflict of interests policy - have not yielded the desired result as the numbers shared by the T–Hub showed that a large number of employees left the organisation, impacting the morale and working environment in the organization.
