Telangana woman dies in US road mishap
Hyderabad: A 29-year-old Telangana woman died on the spot while another woman suffered injuries in a road accident in Missouri, USA, on Saturday night. The incident came to light after the family members were informed on Sunday.
According to family members, Daram Supriya, a resident of Mahabubabad, died and her friend suffered injuries after the car in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck. The mishap occurred when the duo was returning home after closing their hotel business for the day.
Supriya was married to K Ranjith, a Mahabubabad resident working as a software professional in the USA. She had started a hotel business in Missouri with another Telugu woman.
On Saturday night, after completing her business, Supriya was travelling home when a speeding truck rammed into the car in which she and others were travelling. Supriya had moved to the USA a few years ago and was blessed with a baby boy.
