The BJP Spokesperson Mir Firasath Ali Baqri on Friday called on the R&B Principal Secretary and requested him to provide RTC buses for Shia devout returning from Golconda to Darulshifa on September 30.
Darulshifa: The BJP Spokesperson Mir Firasath Ali Baqri on Friday called on the R&B Principal Secretary and requested him to provide RTC buses for Shia devout returning from Golconda to Darulshifa on September 30.
Speaking to The Hans India, Firasath Ali said that around 15,000 to 20,000 devout would take up walk from Darulshifa to Ashoorkhana Paltan emulating the pilgrimage walk from Najaf to Karbala by Shias in Iraq.
"But for their return, they find it difficult to get transport facilities. Hence, we have submitted a requisition to the Principal Secretary to provide RTC bus service to pilgrims returning to Darulshifa playground during the early morning on Sunday, whose expenses would be borne by the devout," he said. Hashim Mirza and Shia Community Elders and volunteers were present on the occasion.
