Walkathon sensitises public on breast cancer
Devireddy Sudheer Reddy, the LB Nagar MLA, and local corporator Mudraboina Srinivas Rao flagged off a walkathan organized by Aware Gleneagles Global Hospitals, LB Nagar, for raising awareness on breast cancer on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA advised women to go in for regular diagnostic tests to detect the cancer in its early states. He emphasised on the need for creating awareness that a cancer patient can resume his regular activities if he gets successful treatment for the disease.
There are many instances where several cancer patients have defeated the disease with strong will to live and with full support from their family members, he said.Hospital staff, Dr Mervin Leo, Revanth Gangasani, Karunakar Reddy and others participated in the program.
