Kadapa: Kadapa SP Shelke Nachiket Vishwanath, IPS announced that hotels, hostels, hospitals, and educational institutions accommodating foreign nationals and OCI cardholders must submit Form–III details on the central online portal within 24 hours.
Under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, electronic records must be retained for one year. Non-compliance attracts minimum fines of ₹50,000 for commercial hosts and ₹1,00,000 for medical and educational institutions, alongside possible criminal prosecution.
Foreign nationals were also warned against acquiring Indian identity cards or purchasing agricultural land, with the police urging strict statutory adherence.
