Discipline key to students’ growth and success: Swami Bodhamayananda
Karimnagar: Personal discipline, dedication and commitment are essential for students to achieve success and develop into responsible citizens, said Swami Bodhamayananda, Director of the Centre for Excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad.
He was speaking at an awareness session on “Personality Development and Life Skills” organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at KITS Engineering College, Singapur, Huzurabad, on Wednesday. College Principal Dr K. Shankar presided over the programme.
Swami Bodhamayananda urged teachers to combine academic education with human values and encouraged students to work consistently towards their goals. He noted that several ordinary people had made significant inventions despite lacking formal education.
College secretary and former MLA Vodithala Satish Kumar advised students to pursue their ambitions with confidence and follow good teachings. Dr K. Shankar said the college promoted discipline and provided opportunities for students to engage in social service.
