BJP leader Namburi lights ‘blessing lamp’ for Viksit Bharat at London

Khammam: BJP Telangana state spokesperson and Sathupalli constituency in-charge Namburi Ramalingeswara Rao lit a ‘blessing lamp’ at the Murugan Temple in London as part of the “Seva Sankalpa Abhiyan” being organised to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.

On Thursday, The lamp was lit as a symbol of the collective resolve to build a “Viksit Bharat” (developed India) by 2047, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Rao said the initiative was intended to express gratitude for Modi’s public service and his efforts towards the development of the country.

He called upon people across India and Indians living abroad to light a blessing lamp at their homes at 7 pm on September 17, marking Modi’s birthday, and reaffirm their commitment to the country’s development, public welfare and the goal of building a developed India by 2047.

Rao said the participation of the Indian diaspora in programmes aimed at supporting the country’s development was inspiring and reflected the community’s continued connection with Indian culture and traditions.

“Let us light a blessing lamp at every home at 7 pm on September 17 and collectively resolve to build a Viksit Bharat while expressing our gratitude for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service,” he said.
