Khammam: RTC bus services across the erstwhile Khammam district were severely disrupted on Wednesday, with buses remaining off the roads at several depots as corporation’s staff mourns the death of conductor Pravallika. The RTC employees expressed grief and anger over the tragic death of their colleague, who succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday night.
Pravallika sustained serious injuries after she was allegedly pushed off of a moving RTC bus by a woman passenger following an argument over a bus ticket near Mittugudem in Aswapuram mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district on October 25.
According to reports, the passenger allegedly pushed the conductor out of the bus during the altercation.
