Kurnool: Joint Collector Noorul Qamar received public grievances at Pedda Kadubur mandal headquarters in Mantralayam constituency on Friday as part of ‘One Month–One Constituency–Four Visits’ programme. Which aims to identify public issues at grassroots level and ensure speedy resolution.
People from various villages submitted petitions, highlighting their individual and community-related problems, at the redressal programme held at Chandramma Bhavan. The grievances mainly pertained to revenue matters, drinking water, roads, electricity, sanitation, housing, pensions and other basic amenities. The Joint Collector assured petitioners that their issues would be examined and necessary action taken as per the rules. Noorul Qamar directed the officials concerned to forward the petitions to the respective departments and take prompt steps to resolve eligible grievances in accordance with government guidelines. Stressing the need for coordination among departments and instructing officials to respond responsibly to every petition, he emphasised that people should not be forced to make repeated visits to government offices for the resolution of their problems. RDO Aruna Devi and other officials participated in the programme.
