Setback for TDP as eight families join YSRCP in Kalyandurg
Kalyandurg: In a political setback for ruling TDP MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu, eight prominent families from West Kodipalli village in Brahmasamudram Mandal quit the party and joined YSRCP.
Driven by growing dissatisfaction with the MLA’s leadership, the families formally joined YSRCP at its Kalyandurg office in the presence of former MP and constituency coordinator Talari Rangaiah, who welcomed them with party scarves.
Rangaiah’s strategic political moves have delivered a blow to the TDP in the mandal, with YSRCP leaders asserting that the party’s cadre base in Kalyandurg constituency continues to grow stronger.
