Kalyandurg: MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu, who has worked tirelessly for Telugu Desam Party since its inception, said he remains indebted to the leaders, activists and people, who trusted his ability to drive development and elected him. He assured them that he would always stand by their side.
A large-scale alliance meeting for Kalyandurg constituency was held at Praja Vedika here on Friday. Key participants included district local body elections in-charge and former Minister Erasu Pratap Reddy, TDP district president Poola Nagaraju, constituency party observer and State Valmiki Corporation director Ramakrishna, along with senior TDP leaders and functionaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA recalled securing majorities from every ward and polling booth in his election and urged party workers to aim for double that margin in the upcoming local body elections. He warned leaders and activists to remain vigilant against YSRCP moles, who might infiltrate ranks to create discord and factions. He pledged full support to all, who work hard for the party and promised to respond to their needs at any time.
Amilineni emphasised that regardless of whether the alliance leadership fields a candidate from Jana Sena, BJP or TDP, everyone must work unitedly for victory. As outlined by Erasu Pratap Reddy, the goal is to transform Kalyandurg into a model constituency over the next three years.
He expressed pride in the dedicated cadre that has built the party into a strong force in this backward region and called on village-level leaders to prepare thoroughly so that whichever candidate contests wins with a substantial majority.
