Nellore: Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy conducted public grievance meeting at her residence in Nellore on Friday and received representations on various issues from people of Kovur constituency.
She interacted with petitioners and enquired about their problems and directed officials concerned over phone to take necessary action to solve the problems without delay. She forwarded some petitions to respective departments for taking further action. MLA Prashanthi Reddy said every public grievance would be addressed in a transparent manner. She said the public grievance programme enabled her to directly understand the problems being faced by people at grassroots level.
She said policy related matters would be referred to the government through departments concerned for finding solutions as such petitions would be resolved only after the government takes decisions.
