Collector sets deadline to clear pending Bhu Bharati applications
Nizamabad: District Collector Bhavesh Mishra on Wednesday directed tehsildars across all mandals to clear pending Bhu Bharati applications and Prajavani complaints on a priority basis. During a review meeting at the Integrated District Offices Complex, the Collector examined mandal-wise pendency and the reasons for delays. Mishra set a strict deadline of the end of the month and directed officials to ensure that no application submitted before July 31 remains pending.
He warned that departmental action would be taken against staff found negligent in disposing of applications. Officials were instructed to maintain transparency while verifying, accepting or rejecting requests to prevent inconvenience to applicants.
The Collector also directed revenue authorities to ensure uninterrupted sand supply to Indiramma Housing beneficiaries at fixed prices, without middlemen. He called for strict action against illegal activities and faster allotment of double-bedroom houses through a fair lottery among eligible beneficiaries.
