CP urges youth to stay away from drugs and cybercrimes
Nizamabad: Police Commissioner P Sai Chaitanya attended the ongoing annual training camp of the 12th Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC) as the chief guest at the Combined Training Centre (CTC) here on Wednesday.
Addressing a total of 550 NCC cadets undergoing training at the ten-day camp scheduled from October 9 to 18, the Police Commissioner stressed the importance of developing discipline, punctuality, responsible behavior, and leadership qualities from student life. He stated that the future of the nation rests in the hands of the youth and emphasised that society and the country can progress only when young people grow up with strong values.
Highlighting the overall role of NCC, he explained that the training is not limited to physical fitness alone, but acts as a comprehensive program that fosters mental toughness, self-confidence, discipline, unity, and leadership abilities. He advised students to work with team spirit, make courageous decisions during challenging times, help others, and act responsibly towards society. Sai Chaitanya further urged the cadets to put into practice the core values of discipline, service orientation, and patriotism learned during the camp.
