Cyber security awareness programme held at Nizamabad DCCB
Nizamabad: A cyber security awareness programme was the Nizamabad District Cooperative Central Bank Ltd (DCCB) on Wednesday. Cyber Crime Department SI Ravi Naidu led the programme and sensitised bank employees about the rising cyber crimes, online frauds and precautionary measures to prevent them.
He advised employees not to share OTPs, PINs, passwords or banking details with anyone and warned them against clicking suspicious links, messages or emails. He also stressed the importance of using strong passwords and accessing banking services only through secure networks.
SI Ravi Naidu further advised people to immediately report any cyber fraud by contacting the National Cyber Crime Helpline at 1930.
On the occasion, Bank CEO Nagabhushanam Vande felicitated SI Ravi Naidu and appreciated the Cyber Crime Department for conducting the awareness programme.
Senior officials, branch managers and head office staff participated in the programme.
