In a shocking development in Nizamabad, Telangana, a man accused of killing his wife (who was four months pregnant at the time) was hacked to death on Thursday, in what appears to be a revenge killing.

According to NDTV report, the police said the attack happened around 5 pm as Chittari Haribabu was at a roadside food stall when a Three or four people arrived in a car, one of whom chased Haribabu and struck his neck and head with a coconut-breaking sickle. Haribabu was badly injured and died instantly; his body was taken to the Government General Hospital in Nizamabad for a post-mortem examination.
The 26-year-old Haribabu was accused of murdering his wife, Gandham Vaishnavi, a YouTuber, who was found dead at her residence in Jagtial district on March 17, this year. Vaishnavi was four months pregnant when she died. police registered a murder case against Haribabu, who was arrested at the time but later released on bail in July this year. It is alleged that Santosh, the brother of Vaishnavi, is behind the brutal public hacking and killing of Haribabu.
A selfie video, supposedly made by Santosh claiming responsibility for the murder of Haribabu, is trending on social media. In it, Santosh says, "I am the one who killed the man responsible for my sister's murder." He also says that he is surrendering at a police station and asks for public support.
He said he saw Haribabu in Nizamabad while traveling for other work and attacked him after recognizing him. The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident and initiated a search for those who murdered Haribabu in public.
