Nizamabad: Armoor BJP MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy on Wednesday threatened to resign from his post, alleging continued neglect of the erstwhile Nizamabad district by the Telangana government. Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, he said he had repeatedly raised the issue with the Chief Minister and Revenue Minister over the past two years, but no action had been taken to replace the century-old Tahsildar office building in Armoor.

Reddy said the deteriorating structure posed serious concerns and alleged that the Sub-Collector’s office was also inadequate for the area’s administrative needs. Seeking immediate construction of a new Tahsildar office, he urged the government to address the region’s infrastructure requirements. He also sought 10 minutes to speak at the end of the session, saying constituency development remained his priority.
