The procession of Srivari Lakshmi Haram was held from the temple to the glorious mandapam on Sunday morning as part of Thiruchanuru Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavams. Earlier, special pujas were performed by placing Lakshmihara at the feet of Srivari. It is known that as part of the Tiruchanuru Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavala, on the day of Gajavahanam, it is customary to decorate the most important Lakshmi Haram from the Srivari jewelery treasury. As part of that, Srivari Lakshmihara was shifted to Tiruchanuru in a highly secured vehicle from Tirumala on Sunday. In the evening Gajavahana service, Padmavati Ammavaru will be garnered with Srivari Lakshmihara.

While Tiruchanuru Sri Padmavati Ammavari Annual Brahmotsavams is celebrated in grand style, government whip Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy presented silk robes to Amma for Gajavahana seva. The Chevireddy couple brought silks from Tummalagunta Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple and presented them to the goddess Padmavati.

Every year on the day of Gajavahana Seva, it is customary to bring and present silk cloths from the Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple. Despite heavy rains this time, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy couple continued the tradition of presenting silk robes to goddess Padmavati.
