TDP Seva Sankalp Yatra kicks off in Alipiri

Tirupati: The Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) Seva Sankalp Yatra commenced at Alipiri on Wednesday to mark the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service.

TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao, alongside Tirupati constituency in-charge JB Srinivas, Parliament president Panabaka Lakshmi, and several legislators, officially flagged off the bike rally.

The eight-day yatra will traverse Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh to showcase Modi’s welfare-oriented governance.

Speaking at the launch, Rao lauded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and PM Modi for providing dedicated, transparent leadership aimed at building an egalitarian society.

Later, Rao visited the Tataigunta Gangamma temple, where management welcomed him for darshan.

Addressing the press outside, Rao strongly condemned provocative statements and alleged threats of bloodshed by YSRCP leaders during upcoming local body elections.

Emphasizing that the TDP is a disciplined organization, Rao urged opponents to halt inflammatory remarks and assured that party members would maintain restraint.

Furthermore, he announced that election tickets would be prioritized for candidates with strong winning probabilities and dismissed any notions that attempts to fracture the ruling alliance would succeed.

Leaders such as SVBC chairman Sridhar Varma and Satyavedu in-charge Shankar Reddy were also present at the event.
