Tirupati: A completely transparent and accurate voter list for the Tirupati Assembly constituency can be finalized only with the active cooperation of all political parties, stated Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and Municipal Corporation Commissioner M Jayakrishna on Saturday.

Addressing an all-party coordination meeting with political leaders in Tirupati, ERO Jayakrishna revealed that formal notices had already been dispatched to 86,627 voters for mandatory verification, out of whom 51,269 individuals have appeared and completed the process so far.

He urged political representatives to ensure that the remaining 35,358 voters present themselves for verification before their designated dates, noting that verification centers will remain operational even on public holidays.

The ERO emphasized that the final deadline to submit claims and objections regarding the draft electoral roll is September 10. Unregistered eligible citizens can submit Form 6 either directly to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) or through online portals.

To assist the public, BLOs will remain present at all designated polling stations on Sunday. Jayakrishna clarified that voters who fail to attend verification or are found ineligible will be officially deleted from the roll following formal notices issued under Form 7.During the session, details of applications received were shared with party representatives alongside technical explanations on Forms 9, 10, 11, 11A, and 11B.
