Vijayawada: The Department of Computer Science, Andhra Loyola College here organised Computer Science Fair 2K26 on Wednesday, providing students an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, technical skills and innovative ideas.
The exhibition was inaugurated by College Rector Fr G Rayappa and Vice-Principal Fr Arul Jothi. They encouraged students to explore technology not just as a tool, but as a means of finding solutions to emerging challenges facing society.
The fair featured 100 working models developed by Computer Science students. The projects covered a wide range of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile App Development, Quantum Computing and Virtual Reality.
The exhibits included software-based solutions as well as interactive hardware prototypes, demonstrating the students’ ability to transform classroom learning into practical applications.
Fr Antony Prabhu of the Department of Visual Communication served as a judge and evaluated the projects on the basis of innovation, technical application and presentation. Head of the Department of Computer Science SAB Nehru and Staff Coordinator K Aparna guided the students in organising the exhibition.
