Vijayawada: The Lions Club of Vijayawada Vaibhav organised an eye screening camp for students at the PM SHRI Zilla Parishad High School in Nunna village of Vijayawada Rural mandal in NTR district on Friday. As many as 480 students underwent eye examinations at the camp, organised in coordination with Vasan Eye Care Hospital.
Past District Governor (PDG) and Regional Coordinator Ambati Sudhakar Reddy inaugurated the camp. Doctors from Vasan Eye Care Hospital examined the students and offered suggestions to help maintain good eye health. Of the 480 students screened, 15 were identified as requiring spectacles.
GST Coordinator T Sudheer Paul Reddy, RDC for Vision Care Ponnuru Divya Vani, Zone Chairperson Nukala Dileep Kumar, Club President Anisetti Nalini Ram, Secretary Sri Ram, Treasurer Venkat Reddy, school Headmaster Surapaneni Ravi Prasad, First Assistant Gopinath, Staff Secretary P Nageswara Rao and School Management Committee co-opted member Naredla Satyanarayana Reddy, among others, attended the programme.
