Students exhorted to pursue GOALS WITH passion
Vijayawada: Ch Kutumba Rao, Vice-Chairman of the Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation, has urged students to identify their interests, pursue their passions with commitment and remain open to changing career paths.
Addressing the inaugural of the three-day annual literary and cultural festival SPHOORTI 2K26 at Andhra Loyola College here on Thursday, Kutumba Rao said students should develop a clear vision, set meaningful goals and work consistently towards achieving them. Referring to the Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation’s objective of reducing inequality, Kutumba Rao called upon students to contribute to society by helping those in need. Bright students could support slow learners, while senior students could guide and mentor their juniors, he said.
The festival, organised under the theme “Ignite – Unleash the Colours Within,” provides students a platform to showcase their talents in literature, music, dance, drama and other cultural activities.
The inaugural programme also featured the team of the Telugu film “Anakapalli,” scheduled for release on October 2. Lead actor Lagadapati Vikram, actress Sandhya Vasishta, producers Kandregula Naidu and Nakkina Trinadha Rao, and director Tammineni Khargesh interacted with students. The film trailer was screened during the programme.
Rector Fr G Rayyapa, Correspondent Fr Dr A Francis Xavier, Principal Fr Dr S Melchior, Dean of Student Activities Dr Srilakshmi, Vice-Principals, faculty members and students attended the programme.
