Vijayawada: AP Non-Gazetted and Gazetted Officers’ (APNGGO) Association state president A Vidyasagar has welcomed the state government’s decision to release two Dearness Allowances (DAs) for employees and two Dearness Reliefs (DRs) for pensioners, saying it reflected Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s commitment to fulfilling assurances given to employees.
The two DAs pertain to July 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025, while the corresponding two DRs have been released for pensioners. In a press statement released here on Saturday, Vidyasagar expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister on behalf of employees and pensioners for promptly implementing the assurance given during the meeting with employee associations on September 5.
He said the orders had brought cheer among government employees and pensioners and would further strengthen mutual trust between the government and employee associations.
Vidyasagar said the AP JAC and APNGGO Association would continue to pursue the remaining issues discussed during the September 5 meeting. He expressed hope that orders on other assurances and the minutes of the meeting would also be issued shortly.
