Vijayawada: YouTuber Nandana appeared before the Ibrahimpatnam police near Vijayawada in NTR District Police Commissionerate on Tuesday evening, a day ahead of the deadline given to her to report at the police station.
Police said Nandana was directed to appear by September 16 in connection with a case registered against her and her husband following complaints alleging fraud in the name of providing jobs abroad. Nandana was recently detained at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad based on a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against her and her husband after they allegedly went untraceable following registration of the case. According to police, Nandana had travelled alone from the UK to India on a British Airways flight. After checking her passport and visa documents, immigration officials detained her based on the LOC and handed her over to the Ibrahimpatnam police. Police are investigating the allegations and the role of Nandana and her husband in the case.
